This year Easter was probably the most beautiful day Fayetteville has seen in MONTHS. It was gorgeous! I love spending the days outside with my kids and Nathan. Nothing could be sweeter than that. We started the morning with bunny, chick and egg pancakes and then went to church. New Heights had a great message and it was packed! Loved seeing all the people come out for the holidays. Always interesting.
That afternoon is when the fun got started. The kids woke up from their naps with their Easter baskets filled will goodies. They were quickly emptied out so the egg hunt could begin.
After the kids found all their eggs we moved inside to open them up!
After all the eggs were open we decided to move to the front yard to play with some of the new toys and to dye eggs. Again, the prettiest day ever and we were going to take full advantage of it!
That night we had some of our community group over. It was a great time. We ate some delicious food (one person even said the best community group meal yet!) We hung out outside, we worshiped, and we prayed. It was a fantastic way to spend Easter. Easter 2013 was a huge success in our book this year!!
