First Lake Trip

Nathan had off work all last week.  We didn’t tell anyone until a couple of weeks before because we didn’t want to plan anything and we didn’t really plan anything ourselves.  It was AMAZING.  We hung out at the house a lot.  We actually got things done around the house, hung out, did fun things like this, played with the chickens.  On Thursday we went to Nathan’s parents lake house.  It is only 30 minutes outside of Harrison but 2 hours away from us.  It isn’t too bad though, we just can’t make it a day trip with the kids.  No big deal.  So anyways on Thursday we headed out to the lake.  The sun was shining when we left but the rain was coming.  It rained a lot on Thursday night but Friday there was no rain luckily!  Thursday night though the storms were horrible and woke up the kids and they are already sleeping in an unknown place, ugh.  We made it through though.  Friday we were able to go out on the boat and play outside.  It was sunny and super warm but it was still nice and relaxing.  The kids did some fishing, rock throwing, walking around, and lounging.  We left Saturday afternoon and even though it rained a lot we loved our time at the lake and look forward to many more weekends out there this summer.
